The "2715-001 Series" is a code capstan-type tensile grip designed to test twisted cords or braided cords more quickly and easily. The guide grooves for the test specimen wrap around the capstan for 2.5 turns, allowing for two wraps to distribute the test specimen load and stress concentration. When a load is applied to the test specimen, the grip has a self-tightening structure.
